Kristin Bowne PT MS DPT


Dr. Kristin Bowne is a pioneer in the new and evolving field of Regenerative Rehabilitation. Her extensive research and practice have allowed her to provide the latest in science and technology and implement cutting-edge programs into any clinical practice. She is passionate about working with others in the community who share her vision for achieving optimal health and fitness and her work is part of an ongoing collaborative with some of the nation's leading regenerative physicians.


Debbie Prudhomme, PTA

PT Assistant

Debbie has a Bachelor of Science degree at San Jose State and an Associate of Science degree from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Ohlone College.  Before joining the team at Kristin Bowne Physical Therapy, Debbie enjoyed working with the geriatric population, specifically those recovering from orthopedic surgery, neurological conditions, and general functional restoration after hospitalization. The PT/PTA relationship is a cooperative relationship, where patient status and individualized best practice are continually addressed to increase communication and accountability in patient care. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, Debbie’s role is to implement the Physical Therapist’s Plan of Care; assisting patients reach their goals.



Jessica Freitas

Front Office Billing and Reception

Jessica relocated to Santa Cruz County from the greater bay area about three years ago. She has her degree in Criminal Justice Administration and had been working a a paralegal and as a legal secretary before coming to our offices. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and going to the beach.



Stephen Doub

PT Aide

Stephen graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a concentration in Exercise Science. His passion for Physical Therapy began when he worked as an assistant Athletic Trainer for Cal Poly Men’s Soccer. Before joining our team, Stephen worked at North County Physical Therapy as an aide. He plans to attend graduate school for Physical Therapy in the Fall of 2018.

Research Assistant / PT Aide

Deanna is completing her Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine degree at Five Branches University. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. Deanna previously worked as a Research Coordinator at Stanford University focusing on several sleep and cognition research projects. She has published work on the usability of technology with older veterans. In her free time, Deanna enjoys taking improvisation acting classes and snowboarding. 


Bridgette Blotz

PT Aide

Bridgette is completing her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Bioengineering at UC Santa Cruz with a concentration in Assistive Motor Technology. Her professional goals are to continue on to graduate school for Prosthetics and Orthotics. Outside of school and work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and crafting DIY projects, including restoring old furniture to its former glory.


Cassidy Lewis

PT Aide

Cassidy is completing her Bachelor's of Science degree in Kinesiology at CSU Monterey Bay with a concentration in exercise science. She is certified from American Council of Exercise in Personal Training. Her future plans are to continue her education at a graduate school for Physical Therapy. Outside the office, she enjoys laughing with friends and family, and exploring the Santa Cruz mountains with her dogs.
